|Remind Me! keeps you informed of the events in
your life BEFORE they happen, so you have time to
prepare for them. It's extremely useful, very
easy to use, and virtually automatic.
Every time you boot your computer you'll
automatically be reminded of upcoming events and
how many days until they occur. You'll never
again forget a birthday, holiday or anniversary.
This is the most universally appealing program we
have.
|Conjecture is truly one of those few games that
appeals to people of all ages and computer
experience. It still amazes me the effect this
game has on normally mature individuals. It's the
best wheel game around.
Conjecture is one of our most popular programs.
Before being released as shareware Conjecture sold
in retail stores nationwide.
|FileNotes lets you attach 160 character "pop-up"
notes to your filenames. Use them to describe
the contents or status of your files. It's
extremely easy to use and as a bonus comes with
one touch functions for the most often used DOS
commands. TSR version is included. You'll never
again forget what's in a file.
|PC-Directory lets you attach 160 character pop-up
notes to your filenames. Use them to describe the
contents or status of your files. In addition,
PC-Directory also includes advanced file
management functions, rivaling the best of file
managers. It's very fast, powerful and tailored
for the those who don't like waiting around.
Includes a TSR and non-TSR version. You'll come
to depend on it.
|PC-Images lets you create "pop-up" slide-show
"Carousels" from captured screen images. You can
create stand-alone briefings, have your slide-
shows display at the touch of a hot key, or
automatically "pop-up" a carousel as a screen-
saver. It includes a screen capture program and a
program to group your pictures into carousels
without having to use scripts.
|Have you ever wanted to grab an address off the
screen and use it to print an envelope? Nabbit is
for you.
Nabbit lets you grab text off your screen and send
it to your printer to print envelopes, labels,
etc. -OR- insert the text into another program
-OR- insert it into a file. Nabbit makes it a
breeze to print an address on an envelope,
transfer data between applications, or save screen
data to a file.
|BriteLine highlights the entire cursor line in any
of 127 different color combinations. Makes it a
breeze to locate the cursor on your laptop or
applications where you need to find data on the
cursor line. And it does a better job than its
$40+ commercial competitor.
|Playback is what we call a task automator. It
records your keystrokes (and the delays between
keystrokes) and lets you play these "keyfiles"
back at a touch of a key, as a "batch" file, or
using the included Menu program. You can adjust
the playback speed, use the keyfiles within batch
files, assign them to hot keys, and even launch
them unattended at some later time.
You can use Playback to automate any repetitive
task. You'd be surprised the different ways
people use it. PC-Magazine was so impressed with
Playback they had me write a very toned down
version to be one of their utilities. Try it and
you'll see why this is one of our most popular
programs.
|Trash-It is the ultimate protection against
accidentally deleting important files. Normal
un-delete programs fail for a whole host of
reasons. Trash-It however will always be able to
recover a deleted file because instead of deleting
the file it moves it over to a special "trash"
subdirectory where you can easily recover it. And
because it operates transparently you'll never
know it's there.. until you need it.
Trash-It has received a lot of acclaim. If you
have a hard disk you owe it to yourself to try
Trash-It.
|Phone, FAX, or better yet, "Modem-It!"
This is the one you've been hearing about.
Modem-It! lets you place orders faster and easier
than using a fax or calling in your order. You
can place orders 24 hrs a day, there's no waiting
on hold, no annoying operators, you can reduce
phone time (calls average <15 secs), and much
more. You just select the desired merchant,
input the items you want and press a few keys.
It may revolutionize the way you place orders.
You can use Modem-It! to order any of our
products. Our Modem-It! phone number is:
(206) 939-2312.
|Blink-Off turns off the blinking cursor in text
modes and replaces it with a soothing block cursor
the color of your choosing. Easier on your eyes
and your attitude. You set the colors, and can
toggle it on and off with a hot key. There are
two commercial programs that do essentially this,
except they want nearly $50!
|TravelWare makes traveling a whole lot easier by
keeping track of your to-do lists, schedules,
flights, auto rentals, lodging, meals, and even
expenses. Not only will it run on your PC,
portable, laptop and notebook, it'll even run on
the new generation of palmtop PCs. If you travel
you'll depend on it. Winner of Shareware
magazine's "Editor's Choice" award.
|Use EZ-Show to create professional desktop
presentations and slide shows WITHOUT SCRIPTS.
EZ-Show works with anything your screen can
display, from text screens to super-VGA graphics.
It includes a screen capture program, presentation
creation program and royalty free show program.
Features include fades, individual picture delays,
user flow control, branching, background
processing, and more.
|Essentially KeyStuff takes a data file generated
by one program and inserts it into another via the
keyboard. You can add delays and special keys
(like function and editing keys) to your data
files and use them to automate tasks. Have your
computer back itself up unattended at 3 am, or
have your E-Mail collected, printed, and waiting
for you when you get in. "Stuff" the file now,
unattended at some later time, or by hot key.
Powerful and flexible.
|"Otto" is also a task automator. But unlike
Playback which is concerned with the delays
between keystrokes, Otto takes its cues from what
appears on the screen. It excels in automating
modem communications. If you have Compuserve the
sample scripts (supplied) can get and retrieve
your e-mail, get the latest news, sports scores,
stock quotes, weather, and weather maps and do all
this unattended, at any time! And Otto works with
*your* communications program. Its script
recorder creates scripts for you automatically as
you do the task you want to automate.
|Each program on this list is user-supported
shareware. This means you get to try it before
you buy. It isn't free, or public domain
software. If after a 21 day evaluation period you
decide to continue using it then you are expected
to become a registered user. You register by
sending in the registration fee. The fees vary
for each program, but I believe you'll find them
to be very reasonable. They are discussed in the
instructions for each program.
We believe our registered users deserve additional
benefits. The benefits vary with each program,
however, all registered users get the latest
version of the software, and receive technical
support.
|Because the programs on this disk with .EXE
extensions are shareware, you're encouraged to
freely distribute them to whomever you wish as
long as you don't charge anything for the copies.
Only distribute the files ending with "EXE".
Don't distribute the individual "extracted" files.
Professional, quality, software takes time to
develop and support. Time is often money. If
users don't register, then quality software
developers won't release their products as
shareware. That would be everyone's loss. If you
find a quality piece of shareware it's important
you register and help distribute it. Making user-
supported shareware succeed is the only way I see
of countering the trend toward ever increasing
software prices.|\
